1st Sunday Roundtable Hour: “Perception and Reality: Which determines what?”
Jim Mundt will facilitate the roundtable discussion. Carlos Castaneda was one of the first ‘New Age’ authors that celebrated the insights and philosophy of shamanism. Personal insights from his book “The Power of Silence” will be discussed. Philosophical viewpoints by Edwin A. Abbott, from his 1884 book “Flatland,” will also be considered. At the heart of our round-table discussion will be – “to what extent are our personal realities self-determined, or to what extent are they constrained by ‘objective realities’?
