Gandhi, Religion, Politics, and the Salt March

Gandhi’s philosophy of non-violent resistance, satyagraha, combines politics and religion.  To an American mindset, any combination of politics and religion is bad.  What about religion might make politics more just and effective?  What about politics might make religion more progressive and effective?

Join us this Sunday as Andrew Kerr explores Gandhi’s philosophy through the events of the famous Salt March.  Perhaps religion and politics should not so much be ‘separated’  as be mutually transformative.
