5th Sunday Garden Talk and Tour of Greenspirit Farm
The first Speaker of the Free Congregation, Eduard Schroeter, was a farmer. Today, the congregation maintains that tradition with another Speaker, Andrew Kerr, who is an organic vegetable farmer. Eduard Schroeter reportedly did not like farming, but Andrew loves it, and wants to show his farm to members and friends this Fifth Sunday. Gather at Park Hall at 10 am for a question and answer session about your garden, then enjoy the beautiful 45 minute drive to Greenspirit Farm. Or, just take in the farm tour, which will begin at noon.
Directions to Greenspirit Farm. You can find the farm on google map. Otherwise, the farm is located on Highway 23, just north of Governor Dodge State Park. The address is 4352 State Hwy 23. Take either 78 south to 14 and go west to 23, or take 60 south to Spring Green and pick up 23. In either case, take 23 south towards Dodgeville. Go south of House on the Rock about 5-8 miles. If you pass Governor Dodge State Park, you have gone too far south.
