Winter Recreation at Hartje Learning Center and Nature Preserve
Although we will try to have the Hall open from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., in case of visitors, we are, this one time (and unavoidably), departing from our practice of having a short program at the Hall on a 5th Sunday. Instead, we invite everyone to gather at 11:00 a.m. – or whenever you can come – at the Hartje Learning Center to enjoy fellowship, food, and recreation. Miles of groomed trails are available for skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, bird-watching, etc. Snowshoes will be available for a donation of your choice. Bring something delicious and/or fortifying to share – this isn’t a full-blown potluck – and appropriate outdoor wear. We’ll be in a spacious, heated room, but there’s also a big fire pit just outside the learning center. 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
