Free WORT “FriendRaiser” at Park Hall

Dine, Taste, Listen, Laugh, Learn, and Be Entertained with WORT Radio
The afternoon will begin with a potluck dinner – including special recipes from the Middle East – in the main hall. The final program of activities has yet to be determined, but plans now include live music by a Madison Cajun band, beer sampling, brief presentations by WORT and the Free Congregation, a panel of news and public affairs hosts who will talk about delivering news in these perilous times, a quick introduction to their Middle East program, and perhaps some satirical news commentary by Mel and Floyd (of Friday afternoon WORT fame). Although WORT will be sending invitations to all its supporters in the greater Sauk Prairie area, they are fashioning this event to appeal to “freethinkers.” 12:00-3:30pm
